Judith Ristino of Everett, a hairdresser for many years who later worked as a crossing guard in Everett, died October 18. She was 84.
She was born January 2, 1942, to George and Agrippina Hooley. Her family says her love of fashion, hair and makeup showed in her work at the salon, and that in later years she took pride in getting Everett children and families across the street safely. She liked nice things, but most of all she liked spoiling her grandchildren.
She leaves her son, Joseph Ristino Jr.; her grandchildren, Julie Lassiter Lerman, Joseph Ristino and Trevor Ristino; her great-grandchildren, Connor, Camden and Cooper Lassiter and Linken Lerman; and her first husband, Joseph Ristino Sr. Her daughter, Darlene Ristino, her brother, George Hooley Jr., and her second husband, Mike Ciccione, died before her.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere.
