A 2-year-old girl has died after a crash on Bellingham Street in Chelsea on Wednesday night, chelseamass.net has confirmed.
Chelsea police called in Massachusetts State Police to help with what state police described as a “serious” crash on Bellingham Street, WCVB reported. Officers and investigators from several agencies were at the scene, several streets were taped off and evidence markers were placed in the roadway, according to WCVB and Boston 25 News.
Police have not released the girl’s name, how the crash happened, or whether anyone else was hurt. No information on charges has been released.
The crash is under investigation by Chelsea police and state police. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
