Glen Martin Manson-Hing of Revere Beach died on Monday, October 26, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, with his family with him. He was 70.

He was born on August 30, 1956, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, the son of Winston and Jocelyn Manson-Hing. He grew up in the Caribbean, where he began his schooling, and finished his education in London. A career move brought him to Boston, and he made his home in Revere Beach.

His working life ran more than three decades in program and project management, with stops in banking and finance, IT, health care and education. Colleagues knew him for looking after the people on his teams before anything else.

A practicing Roman Catholic, he leaned on his faith and on two passages in particular, Philippians 4:13 and the opening line of Psalm 23. Away from work he sailed and skied, and he brought his family along for both.

His wife, Leslie, shared his home in Revere Beach; their son, Christopher, lives in Newport, Rhode Island. In Santa Barbara, California, he leaves his mother, Jocelyn, and two brothers, Gregory and Christopher, whose wife is Monika. A sister, Leslie Ann, lives in Calgary, Alberta. Bernice Cheung, his mother-in-law, and Renee Lee Young, his sister-in-law, and her husband, Terence, also survive him. He was predeceased by his father, Winston Kelvin, his brother Richard, and an aunt, Lena (Johnston) Larson.

Visitation is Friday, November 6, from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere Street, Revere, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial is private. The family asks that memorial gifts go to Malden Catholic High School in his name.
