Grace A. (Roberts) Fabiano, who was born and raised in Revere, graduated from Revere High School and raised her family in the city before moving to Rindge, New Hampshire, died on Friday, November 6, 2026. She was 88.
She was born on December 31, 1937, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Roust) Roberts. After high school she married George Fabiano, and the two made their home in Revere, the place her family says she always considered home.
Her family remembers her for patience and a gentle warmth that put visitors at ease. She liked Elvis, trips to Las Vegas, time at the family’s lake house and animals of every kind, and she treasured scenic drives and dinners out with her husband. Above everything else, her family says, she wanted to be surrounded by the people she loved.
Her husband, George, died before her, as did a son, Georgie Fabiano, and her sisters Barbara Gaffney, Phyllis Going and Jean Demarco. She leaves her children, Debbie Fabiano, Michael Fabiano, Elaine Fabiano, and Christopher Fabiano and his wife, Stefanie; three grandchildren, Hope, Everly and Tyler Fabiano; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 11, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Paul Buonfiglio and Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Revere. Burial will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
