Peter R. Bass Sr., a longtime resident of Lexington, passed away on December 9. For 35 years, he worked as a Camera Technician in Large Format Photography at Polaroid, where his career took him to numerous locations around the globe. His military service included duty as a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He maintained active involvement with the Aleppo Temple Shriners, the Royal Order of Jesters Boston Court 103, and held membership in both the Norfolk and Simon W. Robinson Masonic Lodges.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosemarie V. (Riminiscenza) Bass, and his son John P. Bass of Chelmsford. He was preceded in death by his son Peter R. Bass Jr. Also surviving him is his cousin Lillian Angelo of Chelsea. The Douglass Funeral Home in Lexington handled the arrangements, with interment taking place at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
