Sophie B. (Budney) Siewko, a Chelsea resident, passed away on March 20. She was the cherished wife of the late Leon “Leo” J. Siewko and is survived by five children: Leona Haumann and her husband William of Peabody; Ronald Siewko and his wife Julianne of Foxboro; John Siewko and his wife Dianne; Joseph Siewko and his wife Anna; and Ted Siewko and his wife Marie, the last three residing in Peabody. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Burge, Francis Kursonis, Stanley, Frank and Michael Budney. In addition to her children, she leaves behind 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. As a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her gentle and caring nature touched all who knew her, and her memory will endure through the cherished moments shared with her family.
