For five decades, Peter Pellegriti has led Winthrop Little League as its President. At the graduation awards ceremony held last Thursday at the Little League Field, the organization recognized his remarkable half-century of service with a plaque. It is rare to encounter someone who dedicates 50 years to any cause, particularly within a youth organization, yet Pellegriti has given his entire career to supporting generations of Winthrop children in Little League. The success and standing that Winthrop Little League has achieved throughout the years reflects the dedication of Peter Pellegriti. The community owes him gratitude for his five decades of commitment and his excellent work.
