Susie (Palladino) Taylor, a longtime Chelsea resident, passed away on May 28 at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford at the age of 90. Her professional life included positions as an assembler at Hood Rubber in Watertown, a glazier at Cool Ray on Beecham Street, and a homemaker for Family Services of Boston, before she eventually retired to spend time with family and friends.

She was the devoted wife of the late Harold E. Taylor, Sr., and is survived by her children Evelyn Betancur of Chelsea and Harold E. Taylor, Jr. of Chelsea, as well as the late Henry Taylor. Her siblings included Nellie Lombardo of Chelsea, Grace Carney of Allston, and the late Jennie Kennedy, Tina Pulscino, Mary Ciaramella, Anna Damiano, Minnie Belli, Rose Hoffman, Michael, Louie, Dominic, Rocky, Joseph and Anthony Palladino.

Taylor is also remembered by her grandchildren Susan Morales, Anthony Morales, Natalie Virella, Hernano Betancur, Amanda Betancur, John Betancur and Angelina Rose Taylor. She leaves behind great-grandchildren Zyana Betancur, Caylum Betancur, Xylise Betancur, Donnell Skeen, Alyssa Morales and Steven Smith, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The Smith Funeral Home in Chelsea handled funeral arrangements. Interment took place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.smithfuneralhomes.com
