A fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Chelsea late Tuesday evening, according to the Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office. The victim, Julio Vaquerano, 36, of Revere, was struck by a motor vehicle shortly after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Blossom and Maple streets. Authorities are actively investigating the crash. The vehicle responsible for the incident left the scene without stopping. Members of Vaquerano’s family have chosen not to provide any statements at this time.
