Chelsea, Massachusetts

On Tuesday, December 28, law enforcement took Randy Rivera, 35, residing at 44 Summit Avenue in Chelsea, into custody following operation of a motor vehicle with suspended license. That same day, Whitney Baskin, 25, of 21 Gerrish Avenue, Chelsea, faced arrest on assault and battery charges. Also arrested was Maureen Y. Simone, 57, from 7 Park Avenue in Revere, who was charged with disorderly conduct along with assault and battery on a police officer.

The following day, December 29, 2010, brought multiple arrests. James M. Deming, 25, of 28-40 Washington Avenue, Chelsea, was taken into custody for a straight warrant felony and resisting arrest. Sonja Gonzalez, 39, residing at 44 Heard Street, Chelsea, was arrested for straight warrant felony. A warrant felony default charge led to the arrest of Esther Muniz, 23, of 106 Walnut Street, Revere. Jose Cajigas, 56, from 44 Quint Street in Allston, faced charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Juan Pena-Cordero, 30, of 61 Vaillar Road, East Boston, was arrested for armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Ramon Gutierrez, 27, of 45 Tudor Street, Lynn, was taken into custody for carrying a dangerous weapon and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Jason Tyrell Fitzpatrick, 29, of 188 Broadway, Chelsea, faced multiple charges: straight warrant misdemeanor, uninsured motor vehicle, operation of motor vehicle with suspended registration, and unregistered motor vehicle.

December 30 saw several more arrests in the area. Nestor Pastor Rodriguez-Viscua, 21, of 58 Chestnut Street, Chelsea, was arrested as a fugitive from justice on court warrant. Leroy R. Randolph, 45, of 855 Broadway, Chelsea, faced a straight warrant misdemeanor charge. Anthony Morales, 46, from 449 Crescent Avenue, Chelsea, was taken into custody for straight warrant felony. Luiz Borges, 24, of 11 Monument Avenue, Marlborough, faced two counts of uttering false checks along with larceny over $250 and larceny under $250. Two warrant misdemeanor default counts resulted in the arrest of Heather Thomas, 25, of Melrose. Phillip Brooks, 39, residing at 130 Bellingham Avenue, Revere, was arrested for shoplifting, trespassing, disorderly conduct, assault, and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.

On Saturday, January 1, Safrancialy Casado, 23, of 855 Broadway, Chelsea, was arrested for warrant misdemeanor default. Three counts of warrant misdemeanor default led to the arrest of Jorge Carcamo, 18, of 16 Lawrence Street, Chelsea. Denny Toro, Jr., 20, of 152 Bloomingdale Street, Chelsea, faced charges including witness intimidation, violation of prevention order, and assault and battery. Alvaro Merlino, 18, from 132 Bellingham Street, Chelsea, was taken into custody for two counts of assault and battery. Natalie Gravel, 25, of 100 Condor Street, East Boston, was arrested for reckless operation of motor vehicle, speeding, and stop sign violation.

Sunday, January 2, brought additional arrests to the police blotter. Nijaz Okic, 20, of 154 Marlborough Street, Chelsea, faced charges of warrant misdemeanor default and disorderly conduct. Jesus Rivera, 25, residing at 164 Franklin Avenue, Chelsea, was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
