Boston Bruins Captain Zdeno Chara was photographed Thursday morning at Logan Airport holding the Stanley Cup aloft as he stepped off the team’s charter plane. Our photographer captured this memorable moment as the squad touched down in Boston shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, where a modest gathering of supporters greeted them upon arrival. Currently, Boston’s municipal leadership and the Bruins organization are finalizing arrangements for a championship parade slated for Saturday at 11 a.m. The region is celebrating the historic achievement by the storied hockey team, which claimed its first Cup in 39 years.
