Metro Credit Union has taken part in the Massachusetts Credit Union League’s Annual Children’s Book Drive as a way to further its commitment to literacy promotion. The organization chose Manville School to receive eight boxes of children’s books that Metro members and employees had donated. Beyond the book donation, Metro gave Alice Cohen, Milieu Director of the Manville School, a $500 Barnes & Noble gift card intended to enhance the school’s library collection. Manville School serves as a therapeutic day school designed for children facing emotional, neurological, or learning challenges.
