Angel Gonzalez

Accident Victim

Angel L Gonzalez, 44, of Chelsea met a tragic end on July 3 in an accident.

A native of Arroyo, Puerto Rico, Angel was struck by a vehicle while attending to a tire change along the breakdown lane of Rt. 93 in Windham, New Hampshire late Wednesday evening.

He leaves behind his mother Violeta (Amaro) Gonzalez of Pennsylvania and is preceded in death by his father Juan Gonzalez. His siblings include Felicita Gonzalez of Shrewsbury, Juan Gonzalez, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Maria Harrold of Beverly, Carmen Gonzalez of Providence, Rhode Island, Felix Gonzalez of Chelsea, Juan Alberto Gonzalez of East Boston, and Jeannie Pagan of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea handled arrangements. Services were held at My Father’s House, 19 Coolidge Street, Revere, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Condolences may be sent through www.smithfuneralhomes.com

Olga Pohorecky

Worked for American Airlines, Filenes and Schraffts Candy

Olga M. (Polonka) Pohorecky of Chelsea, age 93, passed away on July 14. Born in Boston and raised in the West End, she relocated to Chelsea during the 1960’s. She died Sunday morning at the Tippet House in Needham, where she had been receiving supportive care since Thursday.

Olga’s employment included more than 25 years with American Airlines, followed by 23 years at Filenes and Schraffts Candy before her retirement.

She was the devoted wife of the late Leo Pohorecky and beloved sister of Stella Ternullo of W. Yarmouth and the late Sophie Antonuk, Alice Sweeney, and Caroline Zozula. She is cherished as an aunt to Vincent Ternullo, Stephen and Richard Zozula, and the late Frank Ternullo, and is survived by grand nieces and nephews.

Helen Jarmulowicz

Worked at Chelsea Social Security Office and at Demoulas

Helen M. Jarmulowicz, a longtime Chelsea resident, was 87 when she died on July 10 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House.

Her career included many years at the Chelsea Social Security Office and subsequently more than 10 years working at Demoulas in Chelsea after her retirement.

She was the devoted daughter of the late Martin and Emelia (Pietrowicz) Jarmulowicz and beloved sister of the late John Jarmulowicz, Edward Jarmulowicz, and Stella Pawlak. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. The Smith Funeral Home, Chelsea, handled arrangements. Committal Services were private. Anna LaMarra-Annable

Of Revere

Anna (Pezzi) LaMarra Annable of Revere passed away on July 2.

She was the beloved wife of Fred Annable and devoted mother of Donna Scibilia of Revere, John DiPaolo of Peabody, Fred DiPaolo of Saugus, Nino DiPaolo of Revere, Katherine Johnson of Saugus, Santino DiPaolo of Saugus, Candice Rose LaMarra of Revere, Anthony LaMarra of Everett, and the late Ricky DiPaolo. She was a dear sister to Raymond Pezzi of Revere and the late Ethallo Pezzi and Elasandro Pezzi. She leaves 21 loving grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
