Those lines will ring familiar to readers who have children—they come from a Barney the Purple Dinosaur song. Yet the message is equally fitting as a springtime reminder to our community about the importance of cleanup efforts.
As the season turns, city street sweepers resume their routine routes throughout Chelsea, and vehicle owners must adhere to parking restrictions during designated hours to allow DPW personnel to maintain clean streets. The timing is particularly crucial now, as winter’s accumulated sand and debris—previously hidden beneath snow—becomes visible once again.
We urge everyone to follow parking regulations carefully. A well-maintained city benefits us all and reflects positively on our entire community.
