Senate President Stan Rosenberg (D-Amherst) has appointed Senator Sal DiDomenico to the position of Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means. Each year, this influential Committee develops the Senate Fiscal Budget and reviews legislation on numerous critical matters. The role also grants Senator DiDomenico membership on the Conference Committee responsible for finalizing the Legislature’s budget.

The appointment marks an advancement from his previous role as Assistant Vice Chair of the Ways and Means Committee during the last session. In addition to his new position, DiDomenico will also serve on the Joint Committee on Election Laws and the Committee on Ethics.
