Following the completion of Memorial Day Exercises, the Chelsea City Council and Veterans Agent Francisco Toro held an official dedication ceremony for the POW/MIA Chair at City Hall on Monday morning. The initiative to place the chair in Chelsea was led by Veterans Agent Francisco Toro working alongside City Councillors Leo Robinson, Matt Frank and Chris Cataldo. More than 100 public buildings, sports stadiums and the State House now feature POW/MIA chairs, serving as reminders to the community of service members who remain unaccounted for.
