DISTURBANCE AT THE COURTHOUSE
A disturbance erupted at Chelsea District Court on October 22 at 10:10 a.m., prompting Chelsea Police to respond. The incident involved a Revere Police case that had been continued to a later date.
During the proceedings, the arrestee became loud and disorderly, directing yelling at the Revere officers. After being instructed to leave, he refused to comply. Instead, he forced his way back into the courtroom, shoving both a court officer and the Revere officers aside before being taken into custody.
Luis Urbaez, 30, of East Boston, faced charges including two counts of assault and battery, two counts of threatening to commit a crime, and two counts of harassing a court officer/police officer.
HOME INVASION SUSPECT APPREHENDED
Officers were dispatched to 11 Watts St. on Sunday, October 25 at 8:40 a.m. after receiving a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, police found a basement apartment window standing open and searched the property thoroughly, discovering no one inside.
A victim then informed officers that a male suspect had jumped over a rear fence. Officers from responding units detained a male matching the description provided. The victim identified the individual, leading to an arrest. Subsequently, another victim came forward, reporting that the same person had attempted to break into their Lynn Street residence.
Gamaliel Badillo, 24, of Revere, was charged with two counts of breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony and trespassing.
JOHNS STING OPERATION YIELDS MULTIPLE ARRESTS
Chelsea Police executed an undercover operation called “Trick No Treat” on Friday, October 23, continuing their focused enforcement against sex-related crimes. Decoy officers were positioned throughout the downtown area, resulting in six individuals arrested and charged with soliciting sexual conduct for a fee. A comparable operation conducted on September 18 had generated 15 arrests.
Chief Brian A. Kyes remarked that “fblikebutton_button” “The city will continue its balanced enforcement of both prostitutes and their customer base of Johns. We will continue to aggressively target these individuals and publicly post their names until we eliminate the demand.”
The following individuals were arrested:

- Michael Squadrito – 37, of 12 Wellington Ave., Everett
- Steven Aloise – 33, of 38 Winslow St., Arlington
- Eric Espinoza – 32, of 274 Chestnut St. Chelsea
- Ivan Romero – 25, of 24 Cottage St., Chelsea
