ARMED ROBBER ARRESTED VIA VIDEO
Chelsea police reviewed city camera surveillance footage on August 19 at approximately 11:30 p.m. to identify a male suspect connected to an armed robbery that occurred around 10:50 p.m. near Central Avenue. The officers spotted a subject in the video and subsequently identified him.
The subject was located shortly thereafter, arrested, and charged with armed robbery.
Elvin Hernandez, 34, of Everett, faced charges including armed robbery with a firearm, assault with a dangerous weapon, receiving stolen property under $250, and possession of a Class E drug.
DAY IN THE PARK…
An officer working Route 12 was approached on Friday, August 19, at 1:30 p.m. by a male reporting an armed robbery. The victim indicated that the individual who had robbed him at knifepoint that morning on Grove Street was present at a park on Bellingham Street.
The reporting party went to the location and confirmed the identity of his robber. The subject was arrested at the scene.
Michael Concepcion, 23, of 75 Franklin Ave., was charged with armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
DRUG ARREST BY DETECTIVES
Members of the Chelsea Police Drug Unit conducted surveillance near Bellingham Square on August 16. At approximately 11:30 a.m., they observed a male approaching two females on Fourth Street near Chestnut. One of the females was known to officers as a self-admitted drug user; the other was identified at the time of arrest.
Detectives followed the three individuals to 192 Chestnut St., where officers witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction. All three were taken into custody, and narcotics were seized.
William King, 37, of Boston, and Valerie Belloise, 31, of Revere, were charged with conspiracy, possession of a Class B drug, and trespassing.
Jayme Spinelli, 21, of Everett, was charged with possession of a Class B drug, conspiracy, and two warrants.
