Craig Cojciehowski
Executive board member of Polish Falcons Nest 485
On January 25, Craig W. Wojciehowski died at age 46.
He was born on August 1, 1970 in Enfield, CT, the son of Walter and Joan (Trocki) Wojciehowski. A 1988 graduate of Enrico Fermi High School, he earned his business degree from Central Connecticut State University in 1992. Throughout his career, Craig held various finance positions in Florida and Massachusetts, most recently spending the last 10 years with Mass Housing in Boston. An enthusiast of outdoor activities, Craig enjoyed skiing and boating. He was passionate about food, devoted to Boston sports, and committed to fitness. Music discovery and guitar playing were among his interests. Deeply connected to his Polish heritage, Craig maintained lifelong membership in the Polish Falcons of America Nest 485, where he served on the executive board.
A devoted son, brother, uncle, and nephew, Craig was the type of friend who transcended friendship to become family. He leaves behind his parents, Walter and Joan Wojciehowski of Enfield, CT; his sister Noelle Poole and her husband Josh of Loxley, AL; his niece Arden; and his uncle Paul Wojciehoski. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Judith Trocki, who served as a clerk of Suffolk County Superior Court.
Visitation took place at the Frank A. Welsh & Sons Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, with family receiving guests. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut St, Chelsea at 10:30 a.m., with interment concluding services at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
A memorial mass honoring Craig will be held Saturday, February 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Adalbert Church, 90 Alden Avenue, Enfield, CT. Lawrence Richard Crowley, Jr.
Chelsea DPW retiree and board member of the former French Club
On January 24, Lawrence Richard “Larry” Crowley, Jr. died at Tufts Medical Center in Boston with his loving family at his side. He was 62 years old.
A Revere native and son of the late Lawrence R. Crowley Sr. and Pauline M. (Rose), Larry was a lifelong Chelsea resident until relocating to Nashua, NH just over a year ago. He attended Chelsea Public Schools and spent most of his career working in the city. Larry gave 22 years of service as a laborer with the Chelsea Department of Public Works before retiring in 2011. He served as a board member of the former French Club in Chelsea. An avid Boston sports enthusiast, Larry particularly enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and his extended community in Chelsea.
Larry is survived by his beloved sister Rosemary A. Dixon and her husband Kenneth of Nashua, NH, and is preceded by his sister Paula Crowley. He was the devoted uncle of Shawn M. Dixon and Christopher L. Dixon, both of Nashua.
