On Tuesday night, Jan. 2, Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes headed the procession of City Council members into the Council Chambers at City Hall to commence the Inauguration ceremonies. In a ceremonial moment, outgoing Council President Leo Robinson handed the gavel to incoming Council President Damali Vidot, who became the first female Council President since charter reform was implemented.
