On Sunday at 1 p.m., Chelsea High School will host the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2018 at the high school campus.
The event will feature remarks from Dr. Mary Bourque, the Superintendent of Schools, who will extend official congratulations to all graduating students.
Also participating in the proceedings will be School Committee Chairperson Jeanette Velez and City Manager Thomas Ambrosino.
Frank DePatto, who previously served as CHS director of athletics, expressed enthusiasm about attending the ceremony in his new role as a School Committee member.
“I know this class very well and they are an accomplished group academically and athletically,” DePatto stated. “I look forward to being present as our graduates attain this important milestone in their lives. Graduation represents the ending of one chapter and the beginning of another. I wish the graduates continued success as they move on to college, the military, and the work force.”
