Colwen Hotels Employees Come Together to Donate over $5,000 in Holiday Gifts for Families in Need Through CAPIC’s Chelsea Revere Family Network

Chelsea, Massachusetts

Employees at Colwen Hotels joined forces during the holiday season to support their local community by partnering with CAPIC, Community Action Programs Inter-City Inc., and the Chelsea/Revere Family Network.

CAPIC representative Jeannette Velez spoke with the company about the Chelsea Revere Family Network, explaining that this state-funded initiative serves families with children from the prenatal period through age eight. Working with Jeannette, Colwen identified specific families to help make the holidays memorable for their children. On Friday, December 14th, the team assembled more than $5,000 worth of wrapped presents and gift cards at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Logan Airport Chelsea location.

The Colwen Hotels portfolio in Chelsea includes three additional properties: the Residence Inn Boston Logan Airport Chelsea, TownePlace Suites Boston Logan Airport Chelsea, and the newly opened Holiday Inn Boston Logan Airport Chelsea.

“We strongly believe in giving back to the communities where our hotels are located. It is just magical to see everyone in the company come together like this in the pure spirit of giving. We are very proud to support these families through this great organization”, according to Julie Scott, President of Colwen Hotels.
