Several hundred participants braved wet conditions for the Herb Chambers ALS/MS Walk, which raised funds for the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home. The event drew notable city figures including City Council President Dan Cortell, Councillors Brian Hatleberg, Leo Robinson, and Calvin Brown, as well as City Manager Jay Ash and School Committeewoman Lisa Lineweaver. Hatleberg and Lineweaver brought their daughters Holly and Hazel to the walk. This group represents longtime supporters of CJNH, each returning year after year to participate in the fundraiser.
Enthusiasm for the nursing home’s mission was evident among the attendees.
