On Thursday, March 27, the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce will host its Installation of Officers Dinner Reception at Anthony’s in Malden.
Taking the oath as the organization’s new president will be Dennis Cataldo, vice president of Cataldo Ambulance Services. He will replace Arthur Arsenault in the role.
Saritin Rizzuto, who co-chairs the event alongside Renee Caso, offered remarks about the transition. “On behalf of the Chamber, I want to congratulate Dennis on his elevation to president of our organization,” Rizzuto stated. “We also want to thank Arthur for his outstanding service to the Chamber during his term as president.”
A Malden Catholic High School graduate, Cataldo earned a degree in Management from Suffolk University. Throughout his tenure leading Cataldo Ambulance Service, Inc., he orchestrated the 2003 acquisition of Atlantic Ambulance Service and has directed efforts to expand that operation since then.
Combined, Cataldo Ambulance and Atlantic Ambulance Service now handle more than 140,000 medical transports annually. The organization maintains a workforce exceeding 700 personnel and operates a fleet of more than 150 vehicles.
Beyond his business role, Cataldo participates actively in numerous organizations and holds the distinction of serving as president of two Chambers of Commerce, including a previous term leading the Malden Chamber of Commerce. His professional achievements have earned him recognition, including the EMS Leader Award from the Metropolitan Boston Emergency Medical Services Council.
Dr. Anne Thorndike will serve as keynote speaker, presenting research on health, wellness, and access to healthy foods in underserved communities.
The program begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The evening will feature musical entertainment, door prizes, a silent auction, and additional activities.
