Chelsea residents are encouraged to attend the Taste of Chelsea, HarborCov’s premier annual fundraiser. Scheduled for Monday, Sept. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m., the event will take place at 99 Marginal St. in Chelsea.
Co-hosted by the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, the Taste of Chelsea aims to generate funds for HarborCov’s mission of assisting domestic violence victims and promoting awareness of domestic violence issues.
Recent headlines have spotlighted the problem, particularly following the incident involving Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, which led to his release from the team and his banishment from the National Football League.
The organization operates an important site in Chelsea, and we recognize the dedication of Co-Executive Directors Lynn Peters and Kourou Pich, whose leadership delivers critical services to domestic violence victims. HarborCov has received considerable recognition for its exceptional contributions.
Special recognition belongs to Chelsea Bank CEO Joseph Vinard, whose instrumental role in developing the Taste of Chelsea into one of the year’s most sought-after events demonstrates remarkable commitment. The substantial funds raised annually reflect Vinard’s vision and dedication—he remains a true unsung hero in our community.
