The Walnut Street Synagogue, located at 154 Walnut St. in Chelsea, invites the community to join Rabbi Mosher Liberow and congregants for High Holiday observances. Advance reservations are not required to attend.

Rosh Hashanah
Wednesday, September 24: Candles will be lit at 6:21 p.m., with the evening service beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, September 25: Morning prayers commence at 9 a.m. At 12:30 p.m., the rabbi will deliver a sermon followed by the Shofar. The evening service takes place at 6:30 p.m., with candle lighting after 7:19 p.m.
Friday, September 26: The morning service starts at 9 a.m. Mincha will be followed by Kabalat Shabbat at 5:30 p.m. Shabbat candles should be lit at 6:17 p.m.
Yom Kippur
Friday, October 3: Candle lighting occurs at 6:05 p.m., when fasting also begins. The Kol Nidre service starts at 6:15 p.m.
Saturday, October 4: Morning service begins at 9 a.m. Rabbi Mosher Liberow will deliver a sermon by Yizkor at 12:30 p.m. Mincha and Neilah service are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Yom Kippur concludes at 7:03 p.m.
