A meeting of the Chelsea School Committee is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 1, during which recently released MCAS data for the district will be reviewed.
The district is currently examining the data, which will be formally presented to the Committee at the meeting.
The data revealed that Chelsea ranks among the state’s most impoverished districts, with more than 82 percent of students qualifying for free or reduced lunch.
