Happy Passover

Chelsea, Massachusetts

As the Jewish holiday begins at sundown Friday and extends through the following eight days, we extend our warmest wishes for a Happy Passover to members of the Jewish community.

The holiday gets underway when Jewish families gather for the traditional Seder meal. The youngest child present at the table holds a special place in the Seder ceremony, tasked with reciting “the four questions” in Hebrew, which open with, “Why is this night different from all other nights?” The observance also features songs that are central to marking this important occasion in the Jewish calendar.

Passover’s arrival also signals that spring has come and warmer days lie ahead.

We hope all Jewish residents of the city experience a Happy and Healthy “Pesach.”
