The Chelsea High School Class of 2015 Graduation Exercises will take place Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Saul Nechtem Gymnasium, where more than 240 graduates will be awarded their diplomas.
CHS principal Priti Johari will oversee the ceremony, while Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mary Bourque will present diplomas to the graduating class.
Three students will address the graduates: Sara Beqo, heading to Boston University, will serve as valedictorian; Aurel Madari, who will attend Drexel University, will serve as salutatorian; and class president Fatima Melara, bound for UMass/Boston, will deliver the class address.
According to Bourque, “fblikebutton_button” the graduating class has secured scholarships totaling more than $900,000.
