Camp Rotary

Chelsea, Massachusetts

The Chelsea Rotary Club is providing 20 Chelsea students, ages 7 to 15, with fully funded week-long overnight stays at Camp Rotary in Boxford, MA this summer. Over 250 children have benefited from the Chelsea Rotary Club’s sponsorship since 1998, made possible through partnerships with generous community supporters. Operated by the Lynn Rotary Club, the facility offers diverse recreational and developmental activities for youth from various communities. To participate, Chelsea children ages 7 to 15 submit essays for consideration. Members of the Chelsea Rotary Club’s selection committee evaluate the submissions and choose the campers. Pictured alongside Camp Rotary Executive Director Dr. Richard Cowdell and Sue Gallant, Chelsea Rotary Club Camp Rotary Committee Chairperson, are this year’s selected campers: Younes Maizut, Manny Andrade, Dimpal Biswa, Luis Rivera, Katherine Acevedo, Katherine Palacios, Paola Gonzalez, Alexander Gutierrez, Henry Martinez, Jullian and Tatiana Hernandez, Misael Goday-Nunex, Rigoberto Murillo, Heidy Jimenez Prado, Emily Espina Miranda and Yelena Hernandez Bonilla.
