On Nov. 24, the City of Chelsea and the Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Tree Lighting ceremony in Chelsea Square. Browne Middle School performed Christmas songs while attendees enjoyed hot chocolate and refreshments. As the evening progressed, Santa Claus arrived to help light the City’s tree and officially launch the Christmas season. The event drew several local officials and dignitaries, including Sen. Sal DiDomenico, Lou Scapicchio of the Soldiers’ Home, Maureen Foley, D. Bruce Mauch, Allan Alpert, Dennis Cataldo, Chief Brian Kyes, Sue Gallant, Melissa Walsh of TND, and City Manager Tom Ambrosino.
