Steven Langille
Of Amesbury
On March 18, Steven A. Langille of Amesbury passed away peacefully. He had formerly lived in North Reading.
A US Air Force veteran, Mr. Langille maintained his membership in the VFW.
His survivors include his beloved wife Sharon (Deering) Langille; his devoted children Christine Langille of Beachmont, Revere, David Langille of Beverly, Loriann Latmier of Nashua and Sean Langille of Washington, DC; his siblings Janet Dunbar of Derry NH and Barbara Djenelewski of Milton; his adored grandsons Tommy, Ricky and Patrick; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
The Ruggiero Family Memorial Home (Orient Heights) in East Boston oversaw funeral arrangements. Steven received Military Honors at his interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations in Steven’s honor may be directed to the Alzheimers Association, 480 Peasant St Watertown. 02472.

Brian Peters, Sr.
Beloved longtime member of the
First Baptist Church
Brian J. Peters, Sr., formerly of Revere, died on March 3 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Berwick, Maine. He was 62 years old.
His affiliations included the Electricians Union Local 103 and the Boy Scouts, where he served for many years. A cherished longtime member of the First Baptist Church, Brian’s life was marked by his devotion to Jesus Christ and his daily expression of faith and trust in the Lord.
Son of the late Francis X. and Elizabeth P. (MacNamara) Peters, he leaves behind his beloved wife Dorothea Filipowich-Peters; his devoted children Brian J. Jr and his wife, Angelica of Sanford, Maine and Dennis F. of Randolph; his cherished grandchildren Nevaeh Faith Peters, Mattea Grace Peters, Brian J. Peters III and Isabella Jimenez; his loving nieces and nephews Scott Murphy and his wife, Kim, Jessica Filipowich, Olivia Scarlet Filipowich, Christina Filipowich, Matthew Filipowich, Nicholas Filipowich and William Roselli; his great nieces and nephews Jack, Ilea, Aiden, Hayden, and Scott Jr.; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bill and Donna Filipowich, Ronald and Kristen Filipowich, and Lorraine and Joe Troville.

Henry Murphy, Jr.
Of Chelsea
Henry T. Murphy Jr. died on March 20 at age 72. He had been a longtime resident of Chelsea, with previous residences in Quincy and Lynn.
His professional life included membership in Teamsters Local 25. Survivors include his devoted daughter Cheriann O’Connor and her husband, Michael of Quincy, along with their children Riley and Madison; his siblings Rita Corey and her husband, Chuck, Carol Sullivan and her husband, Robert and Thomas Murphy, all of Florida, Paul Murphy and his wife, Carol of Fall River and the late Edith Shenett and her late husband, Al; his companion, Edith Gallant of Chelsea; his former wife, Ann Crickett and her husband, Brian of Quincy; their daughter, Robyn Davidson and her husband, Matt of Weymouth; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was the son of the late Henry T., Sr. and Edith (Lynch) Murphy.
Visiting Hours at the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea were held on Friday, March 25 from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 5 p.m. Following cremation, interment services will take place at New Calvary Cemetery on a date and time to be announced. Susan Jane Rice
Longtime UPS employee
Susan Jane (Rollins) Rice, age 65, passed away Thursday morning, March 17 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington.
Born in Chelsea to the late Irving and Laura Cynthia (Findlay) Rollins, she graduated from Chelsea High School in 1968 after attending Chelsea Public Schools. An Associate’s Degree holder in Business, Susan devoted many years to her work as a customs house broker for UPS in Chelsea until June of 2015, when illness forced her retirement. She held the position of current secretary of the Air Cargo Club of New England and served as its past president. Jewelry making, crafts and sewing kept her engaged, and she will be deeply missed by family, friends and her extended UPS family.
Her beloved husband is Garry H. Rice of Revere. She leaves behind her devoted children Michelle Gregory and her husband, Vincent A. of Revere and Colby H. Rice and his fiance, Julie Vallarelli of Arlington, as well as two grandchildren, Amanda and Brianna Gregory, both of Revere.
A Memorial Service celebrating Susan’s life was held on Wednesday, March 23 at the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Avenue, Chelsea. Those wishing to honor her memory may direct donations to a charity of their choice.

Robert ‘Sully’ Sullivan
10-Year resident of Admiral’s Hill
Robert J. “Sully” Sullivan, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 15 at the West Revere Health Center following a long illness. He had been receiving supportive care there for several days prior.
Born on March 18, 1942 in Cambridge to the late Daniel J. and Grace R. (Cooper) Sullivan, he was one of four children. His education began at St. Mary’s Parochial School in Cambridge, and he later graduated from Somerville High School after his family settled there.
During the Vietnam Era, Sully enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of PFC. He returned to Somerville to establish his early career.
For many years a resident of Everett, Sully worked as a Teamster and Truck Driver operating large tanker trucks for White Fuel across more than 20 years. His subsequent employment included work for the USPS in South Boston at the South Postal Annex as a building custodian. A decade ago, he and his wife settled on Admirals Hill in Chelsea. Until a year ago, he generously volunteered as grounds keeper at the Immaculate Conception parish in Everett. Sully was a longtime, proud member of Teamsters Local 25, Boston.
Leisure pursuits included walks along Revere Beach and following the Red Sox during summer months. He is survived by his beloved wife and companion of 40 years, Cheryl A. (White) Sullivan; his devoted children and step-children Kim O’Brien and her husband, James of Bradford, Shawn White and his wife, Rosa of Everett, Christopher White of Boston, Kenneth White and his wife, Cheryl of West Springfield; his dear siblings Lillian Sullivan of Arlington, Diane Sullivan of Stoneham and Daniel Sullivan of Tyngsboro; and his cherished grandchildren Brant and Corbin O’Brien, Shawn Michael White, Olivia and Vivienne White.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett. Inurnment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
