STABBING ON MARLBOROUGH
A stabbing incident was reported by Chelsea Police at a residence on Marlborough Street during Saturday morning hours.
According to police, the stabbing stemmed from a domestic dispute involving a father and his stepson. The injured party was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Though wounded in the attack, the victim is anticipated to make a full recovery.
STABBING ON CHESTNUT, OR MAYBE EL SALVADOR?
Officers were called to the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) on Sunday, April 3, after receiving word of a past victim of an armed robbery and assault. The individual, who appeared intoxicated, was unable to specify the exact location or timing of the incident beyond identifying Chestnut Street and stating the perpetrator was a black male he knew but could not identify or characterize further.
At another point in his account, he indicated the crime had occurred in El Salvador.
The victim sustained a puncture wound to his hand, which was treated at the center. He reported that $300 in cash had been taken from him.
CAR STRIPPED
An off-duty officer provided information on April 4 about individuals dismantling a vehicle for parts, prompting a response at 9:40 p.m. Based on this tip, officers proceeded to 121 Cark Ave., where they discovered multiple car components. Officers learned the suspects were located down the street in a Ford Expedition near Clark and Eleanor Streets. Both individuals were apprehended after officers converged on their location.
A stolen Honda Civic, from which the parts had been removed, was also recovered by police. One of the arrested individuals was found to be wearing a court-ordered monitoring bracelet.
Ivan Reyes, 22, of 81 Central Ave., and Edwin Wilfredo Carnona, 18, of Revere, were charged with receiving stolen property and larceny of a motor vehicle.
On Monday, April 11, around 2:20 p.m., Chelsea 911 received multiple reports of a vehicle colliding with a building at the intersection of Clark and Webster Avenues.
Chelsea Fire and Police departments responded along with Cataldo Ambulance. A pickup truck traveling down Clark Avenue toward Webster reportedly experienced brake failure, veered onto the sidewalk, struck a fence and stone retaining wall at 76 Webster Ave., became airborne, hit a parked vehicle on Webster Avenue, and finally struck the building at 77 Webster Ave., resulting in significant structural damage.
The driver appeared unharmed, though the vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and a ruptured fuel tank.
Chelsea firefighters contained the fuel leak, applied absorbent material to the area, and remained on scene until ISD Building Inspectors confirmed the building was safe for occupancy.
