On Saturday, Aug. 27, at Highland Park, Minerva Cruz passed the ball during The Movement’s women’s volleyball championship match. The event brought together the season’s premier basketball and volleyball squads in a day-long competition. Cruz’s volleyball squad claimed the top prize, while the Red Team captured the basketball title. Saturday marked The Movement’s inaugural season of competition, with organizers looking ahead to expanded offerings in the coming summer.
