On Friday, Sept. 9, a ceremony took place to mark the opening of Chelsea GreenRoots’ new headquarters on Marginal Street. Roseann Bongiovanni and David Prusky, a longtime environmental justice advocate, presided over the green ribbon cutting. The organization, which previously operated as Chelsea GreenSpace, separated from the Chelsea Collaborative in the early summer and will dedicate itself to addressing environmental concerns with greater focus.
