At Monday’s City Council meeting, a ceremony took place to recognize Black History Month. Joan Cromwell, who serves as President of the “Chelsea Black Community One Strong Voice,” appeared alongside Beverly Martin Ross to express gratitude to Council President Leo Robinson and fellow council members for the acknowledgment.
A significant celebration of the month is scheduled for Feb. 27 at Chelsea High School.
