Detectives from Chelsea and State Police working with the Suffolk County District Attorneys Office are looking into a shooting that took place in front of 119 Congress Ave. on Tuesday evening.
At 7:45 p.m., Chelsea officers arrived at the scene after receiving a report of gunfire in front of that location. Upon arrival, officers found two people suffering from gunshot wounds lying in the street. A male victim and a female victim were both transported by EMS to Massachusetts General Hospital. Both sustained serious injuries.
The identities of the two victims are being withheld at this time.
