An art exhibit opening at the City Hall Gallery marked the continuation of the Chelsea Black Community’s 2018 Black History Month Celebration on Tuesday. Attendees included Councillor-at-Large Calvin Brown, Beverly Martin-Ross, Sharon Caulfield, Councillor Luis Tejada, Yahiya Noor and son Khasim Noor, Henry Wilson, Lisa Santagate, Councillor-at-Large Leo Robinson, CBC President Joan Cromwell, and Ronald Robinson.
The upcoming Taste of Culture Cook-Off will take place Monday at 5 p.m. at La Luz de Cristo Church, 738 Broadway, as the next scheduled Black History Month event.
