As the 8:05 a.m. bell sounded on Wednesday morning, Aug. 29, eager middle school students streamed through the front entrance of the newly completed Clark Avenue School. The facility’s grand opening brought together phase 1 and phase 2 students for the first time, featuring a gymnasium, music room and an inviting outdoor courtyard. Before classes commenced, excited staff members, parents and students gathered in the courtyard, celebrating the start of a new school year in a building equipped with modern facilities and amenities.
