The Monkiewicz family has been plunged into profound grief following the death of Stacee Monkiewicz, who passed away on December 22 from a sudden, catastrophic illness at her home. She was 41 years old and is survived by her husband, Matt, and four children. While we did not have the privilege of knowing Mrs. Monkiewicz personally, we are well acquainted with her husband Matt, a fine man who dedicates nearly every working day to the Kayem plant, a business owned by the Monkiewicz family. No words can truly ease the anguish that has befallen his family in the wake of losing Stacee, a woman who by all accounts was exceptional and devoted—someone who consistently gave of herself to others. Just one day before, on December 21st, her future seemed to stretch endlessly before her. By December 22nd, she was gone. We extend our most sincere condolences to Matt, whom we know so well, and to all those whose lives were touched by Stacee Monkiewicz’s love and presence.
