Elizabeth Susan “Sue” Chotkowski, an Everett High School graduate of 1969 who made her adult life in Falmouth, died on August 17, 2026 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 75.
She was born in Lowell in 1950, the daughter of Frank Bombaci of Everett and Elizabeth Valeri of Charlestown. She moved to Falmouth in the mid-1970s and stayed more than 50 years, working in social work and in sales, reading constantly, making ceramic art, and watching her sons play baseball. In 1978 she married Stephen Chotkowski; they had 48 years and a great deal of the country seen together. Her grandchildren called her Minnie.
Besides her husband, of Falmouth, she leaves her sons, Christopher and his wife Janie of Windham, New Hampshire, and Michael and his wife Heather of Belchertown; and six grandchildren, Harper, Tucker, Cameron, Emersyn, Austin and Oliver. Her parents and her brother, Kenny Bombaci of Boylston, died before her.
Visiting hours were held August 25 at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. Burial was private. The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
