Ryan J. Waldron, a General Electric aerospace worker and carpenter who coached youth softball in Revere, died October 24. He was 39.

Born November 18, 1986, he graduated in 2004 from Northeast Regional Vocational High School, where he studied carpentry, and later took engineering courses at Northeastern University. He went to work at General Electric’s aerospace division in Lynn straight out of high school. Carpentry stayed with him: he took on side jobs in his spare time.

He and Victoria (Pacewicz) were together as a young couple for more than 15 years before they married in 2015, and they raised two children. His family describes a father who was deeply involved in his kids’ lives, a man who called himself a comedian and could not resist a prank, and a rider who loved his motorcycles.

He leaves his wife, Victoria A. (Pacewicz) Waldron of Revere; their children, Jacob and Emily Anne Waldron; his mother, Donna (DiCampo) Vargas, and her husband, James Vargas; his father, Robert Waldron, and his wife, Anne Losco Waldron; his siblings, Amanda Obsharsky, Nicole Nyland and Larissa Nyland; a niece, Nova; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Visiting hours are Thursday, October 29, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere. The funeral leaves the funeral home Friday, October 30, at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St., Revere. Burial will be at a later date.
