Sheila M. (Budney) Howard, who spent 31 years living in Everett after growing up in Chelsea, passed away on November 10 following a brief illness at Whidden Memorial Hospital. She was 60.

A homemaker, mother and grandmother, Ms. Howard was born and raised in Chelsea, where she also completed her schooling. She had been married to Robert E. Howard Sr. of Everett for 41 years.

She is survived by her children Robert Howard Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, of Everett; Scott Howard and his wife, Shye, of Florida; and Angel Daigle and her husband, Billy, of Revere. She was also the mother of the late Timothy Howard.

Her siblings include Richard Budney and his wife, Sandy, of North Brookfield; Bette Mohr of Hingham; Beverly Gallant of North Andover; Patricia Sobolewski of Revere; and Sandra Laft and her husband, Richard, of Saugus. She was preceded in death by brothers-in-law Russ Mohr, Al Gallant and Robert Sobolewski.

Ms. Howard’s grandchildren are Chanel, Timmy, Michael, Faith and the late Chuckie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will take place Friday, November 13 at 11 a.m. at the William R. Carafa & Son Home for Funerals, 389 Washington Avenue, Chelsea, with Rev. Tom Coots officiating. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
