On June 9th, a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Admiral’s Hill neighbors gathered alongside building residents and Chelsea City Council President Dan Cortell (pictured right) to formally dedicate a memorial tree and stone at 100 Captain’s Row. The tree was planted on the grounds where Arlene Black lived for more than 35 years before her recent passing. Joyce Black, Arlene’s sister, joined the building’s Trustees and others in honoring the lifelong Chelsea resident and Chelsea High School graduate who served as a highly respected teacher in the Chelsea Public School System and was a recipient of “The City of Chelsea’s Teacher of the Year Award.”
