Gerald Alviti, 52, an East Boston resident, entered a not guilty plea to hit-and-run charges yesterday, the day following an alleged incident in which he struck and killed a 40-year-old woman with his vehicle in Revere, according to prosecutors. Alviti faced one count of leaving the scene of an accident causing death and was ordered held on $10,000 cash bail following his appearance in Chelsea District Court.
