For Patricia and her father, Anthony Simboli, the principals of ACS Development, the FBI’s decision to locate its headquarters in Chelsea represents a milestone achievement. It is not often that the city’s largest and most successful real estate developer receives approval for a 250,000 square foot FBI headquarters to be constructed on approximately 50,000 square feet of land and rising 6 stories high. This new victory surpasses all of their previous accomplishments. The Simbolis were pioneers in Chelsea’s transformation of the old Ward 2 territory. In their early days, they risked everything they owned and came close to losing it multiple times. Through perseverance and doing what was right, the Simbolis have earned this success. When this development is finished and the rent begins to flow in, they will reap the rewards of their dedication. Their achievement is a worthy one, and they are to be congratulated.
