A 24-year-old woman was left in critical condition following a severe beating on Parker Street in Chelsea in the early morning hours yesterday. Emergency responders transported the unidentified victim to Massachusetts General Hospital shortly after 2 a.m. Authorities, according to a spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney, were actively searching for a four-door gray vehicle whose operator may be connected to the assault.
