Massachusetts State Police announced Thursday that a 31-year-old Chelsea resident, Bayron Fajardo, had been taken into custody in New Jersey. The arrest was made on a Chelsea District Court warrant that includes charges of kidnapping, rape, assault with intent to rape, and violating a restraining order. According to authorities, Fajardo allegedly forced a woman to submit to sexual assault at knifepoint in Chelsea.
