The Chelsea community joins together in honoring the Salvation Army of Chelsea during the national observance of Salvation Army Week.
Throughout our nation, the Salvation Army provides invaluable assistance to countless towns, cities, families, and individuals. Chelsea is privileged to have this outstanding organization operating from its Chestnut Street location and serving the community with dedication.
On Monday, the Wyndham Chelsea Hotel hosted a notable luncheon recognizing three community leaders for their exceptional service to charitable causes and their commitment to the Salvation Army’s work. The honorees were City Manager Jay Ash, Dockside Restaurant owner Jack Urbaczewski, and MWRA Program Manager Paul Burridge.
We recognize Captains Scott Peabody and Karen Peabody, as well as Lieutenants Miguel Garces and Nancy Garces, for their outstanding dedication and the contributions of Salvation Army volunteers across the nation.
We encourage you to continue this vital work.
