I wish to express my support for Charlie Baker’s candidacy for Governor of Massachusetts. The scandals that have recently emerged involving the DCF, the EBT program, and the Probation Department demonstrate the complacency and neglect that can result from allowing a single party to exercise unchecked control over state government. Massachusetts requires a governor prepared to tackle the excessive bureaucracy of state government with determination and without hesitation. We need a governor with a documented history of job creation and tax relief for working Massachusetts families—one who will champion increased local funding and improved public schools in places such as Chelsea. I am convinced that Charlie Baker possesses the qualifications necessary to accomplish these goals, and I encourage Chelsea residents to vote for him for governor on November 4th.
